There’s nothing more exciting than a school where children gain knowledge in comfortable and spacious classrooms and enjoy their play time in large open play grounds. This international school was designed to give the students the interactive learning spaces they deserve.
We chose to use a smaller footprint for the school building and leaving maximum land area open. The linear planning of the building helped to create mutually shaded building blocks thereby achieving thermal comfort in the indoor areas. Simple rectangular blocks are punctured by colourful openings bringing ample light into the classrooms. The smaller open spaces between the building blocks were designed as courtyards of learning.
